We collect only the information we need to run and improve Valello:

• Account information: your name, email address, and any business details you provide when you sign up or contact us.
• Connected account data: when you connect an Instagram professional account through Meta’s official APIs, we receive the data needed to run your automations, such as your profile name and ID, comments and messages related to your automations, and basic engagement information. We never receive or store your Instagram or Facebook password.
• Automation content: the keywords, replies, and links you set up in Valello.
• Usage information: technical details such as browser type, device, pages visited, and how features are used, which help us keep the service reliable and improve it.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use personal data to:

• provide the service, including sending the automated replies you configure;
• maintain, secure, and improve Valello;
• respond to support requests and communicate with you about your account;
• detect and prevent fraud, spam, and misuse.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.

4. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal data only when needed:

• Service providers who help us run Valello, such as hosting and email providers. They may use the data only to provide their services to us and must keep it confidential.
• Meta Platforms, to the extent required to access Instagram through its APIs and deliver your automations.
• Legal authorities, when we are required to do so by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of our users or others.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it, unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations.

You can ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject “Data deletion request”. Please include the email address of your Valello account and, if applicable, your Instagram username. We will confirm your request and remove your data within a reasonable time. You can also disconnect Valello from your Instagram account at any time in your Instagram or Meta account settings.

unitedreams inc. is based in Canada. Your information may be stored and processed in Canada or in other countries where we or our service providers operate. When we transfer personal data across borders, we take appropriate steps to keep it protected, such as using contractual safeguards with our providers.
